Definitely! I’ll tell you a little secret… MOST of the dogs pictured here on the website were actually on leash and being held by their owner during the session! The magic of editing allows for leash removal and you’d never know it was even there! Many locations will require that all dogs be on leash throughout the session, and safety is always a high priority. I’m fully prepared for the editing that will need to happen with your images.

All I need is a split-second to capture your dog looking fantastic! They don’t have to sit, down, or even stand still for long for me to grab what I need - fast shutter speeds are essential! Some pets will take some time to either warm up to the situation or settle down enough to even look in my direction, and that time is built into the session so that we can relax and explore. I have lots of tricks and tools in my toolbox to help your dog! I’m committed to making the experience as positive, relaxing, and fun as possible. My background in Dog Training and managing many dogs over the past 20 years in my Dogsitting business gives me a great advantage in knowing how to get the best out of your dog.

I’m so very sorry. It’s such a difficult time when you realize your dog hasn’t much time left, and I understand the importance and urgency of arranging to capture those images. My Legacy Sessions are available to geriatric and palliative dogs, and they’re given priority in my schedule to be able to offer them as soon as possible. While you will receive a $450 Studio Cash credit towards a purchase of products during your Reveal & Ordering Appointment, no products are included with your Session Creative Fee. The Session Creative Fee covers the time and talent to plan, photograph, hand edit, and guide clients through the ordering process. I’m here to help you every step of the way!

Yes! Web-ready digitals are included with any image purchased as select Print Products! You’ll be able to share your cutie pie with your friends, family, and followers on any social media platform! Please note that Digital files are not included in the Session Creative Fee, but the corresponding web-ready version is complimentary with select print product purchases.

Of course! You’re welcome to hop into the photo with your dog, and if you’d rather NOT be in the photos, you’ll be under no pressure to be in them! We can plan to focus on your dog on their own, or the connection between you and your dog, or a mixture of both! If you’re not sure about appearing with your dog, keep in mind that I can focus on details like your hands petting your dog, or shaking a paw, or even throwing a toy in the background rather than a traditional portrait-style image.

I love ALL animals! Yes, even slithery or many-legged ones! However, all of my sessions are currently held outdoors, so dogs, horses, and any animal that can be kept safely on a leash are welcome. I’m working towards creating a studio space in our dog building, so studio sessions will be an option at some point too! My studio will allow me to offer sessions for pets that need a contained space, as well as add variety to outdoor sessions, plus it will give us the option to create during any type of weather.
